The band was in the studio today for the recording of their upcoming single. Well done to Alice and Seb for nailing down the rhythm session of Screws and Nothing In This World in 4 hours. On the productioon and behind all the machinery is Hiydrow Pea, with whom the band is really excited to be working with. Further recording sessions scheduled in the week.
Gunsharks released today their first song Screws. It is a DIY demo production recorded in Rock'n'roll Cave studios in North London. The song is a lyrical ode to liberation gunshark-style ("now I can breathe" sings Damon), over a bed of punk rock outbreaks and heavy riffs.
The track is available on the website and on youTube. The band is scheduled next month to hit the studio to record their first single, the homonymous Gunsharks. It will be mastered for and cut in 7'', 45rpm vinyls.
